Why do you call Krishna the Supreme Lord?

Because only He has the total of 64 attributes of the manifestation of the Supreme as given in the scriptures. He excels in all of them and in everything.

The scriptures list these 64 attributes as: 1. Beautiful physical features, 2. Auspicious characteristics, 3. Pleasing, 4. Effulgent, 5. Strong, 6. Ever youthful, 7. Wonderful linguist, 8. Truthful, 9. Pleasing talker, 10. Fluent, 11. Highly learned 12. Highly intelligent 13. Genius 14. Artistic 15. Clever 16. Expert 17. Grateful 18. Determined 19. Expert judge of time and circumstance 20. Seer by the authority of the scriptures 21. Pure 22. Self-controlled 23. Steadfast 24. Forbearing 25. Forgiving 26. Grave 27. Self-satisfied 28. Possessing equilibrium 29. Magnanimous 30. Religious 31. Heroic 32. Compassionate 33. Respectful 34. Gentle 35. Liberal 36. Shy 37. Protector of Surrendered Souls 38. Happy 39. Well-wisher of his devotees 40. Controlled by love 41. All-auspicious 42. Most powerful 43. Famous 44. Popular, 45. Specially attractive for devotees 46. Very attractive for women 47. All worshippable 48. All opulent 49. All Honourable 50. The Supreme Controller 51. Changeless 52. All Cognizant 53. Ever Fresh 54. Eternal Conscious Blissful Form 55. Possessing all mystic perfections 56. Possessing inconceivable potencies 57. His body Generates innumerable universes 58. The original source of all incarnations 59. Gives Salvation to the Enemies He Kills 60. Attractor of Liberated Souls 61. Performer of Wonderful Activities 62. Always is
Surrounded by Loving Devotees 63. Plays Attractive Flute 64. Has Unrivalled Excellence of Beauty in the entire Creation.

Humans have 50 qualities in minute portions; Brahma has 50 qualities in full measure, Shiva has 55 qualities in full measure, Vishnu has 60 qualities in full measure while Krishna alone has all 64 qualities in full measure. His four special qualities are: Venu (Flute), Prem ( Love), Leela (Wonderful Activities) and Roop (Beauty). Thus he is called the Supreme Lord.
